Tapestry Goes West 2007

FESTIVAL, Margam Park, Port Talbot, WALES, United Kingdom

FRIDAY 10 AUGUST 16:00

Organiser: Barry

This awesome medieval fest was headlined by The Brian Jonestown Massacre last year. And with regulars like Chrome Hoof and the Tokyo Dragons, you'd be a landless serf to let it pass you by.

Based on the non corporate festivals of the late sixties and early seventies this small (approx 1000) event has hosted the likes of The Magic Numbers, The Pipettes, Brian Jonestown Massacre, Field Music, Simple Kid, The Archie Bronson Outfit, Kitty Daisy and Louis, amongst many others. It also features a Saturday morning coach trip to the seaside.

No acts for 2007 are confirmed as yet. As well as music, the festival also features archery, jousting, a mead tent, etc, with many people attending wearing costume - dress up and join in!

For more info go to the official Tapestry Festival website.

Tickets are £50 from www.wegottickets.com.
